Clarkston, MI – Intellitrends LLC, a market research and market strategy company is proud to announce it has joined forces with Automation Alley to conduct an Information Security Study among Michigan-based employers. Sponsored by a grant from the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth, the Southeast Michigan Information Security Regional Skills Alliance has prepared an information assurance employer survey with results to be used to help Automation Alley gauge the state of the region’s information security industry. The Survey will address issues such as how businesses view information security, the average dollar amount spent on hiring information security professionals, and the education level needed to enter this workforce.
Now, more than ever, with increasing threats of cyber terrorism, corporate governance, fraud, intellectual property and identity theft, the need for information security is taking the forefront of corporate IS functions says, Keith W. Stone, EVP, Intellitrends, adding, this state of readiness survey is key to the RSA and Automation Alley’s agenda to assist firms in their efforts to build secure corporate environments.
